Driving home from Edinburgh on Sunday I spotted this lone tree with the Pentland Hills as its backdrop. Too good to miss!

Mostly I write books and other things that people pay me for. What I'd like to do is to take more photographs. Ideally I'd like to try combining the two at some point in the future. . .

This looks totally enchanted, I love how the yellow caresses the hills and
seems so unusual partly because the yellow is so canary yellow , a very
